The journey isn’t a simple cruise; it becomes a test of character, teamwork, and nerve as the crew encounters a string of surprises before the decisive match.
Vasya Vesnushkin [Georgiy Vitsin] is a gifted reserve striker who finds himself swept up in a crush on the gymnast Valya [Tatyana Konyukhova], even as he worries she might prefer his brash older brother, Sasha Barashkin [Aleksandr Kuznetsov], the team’s star.
