Srimannarayana is a dedicated university lecturer living in Hyderabad with his grandmother. Known for his strong sense of justice, he constantly stands up against wrongdoers, earning both fear and respect from those around him. Despite his tough exterior, he is a kind-hearted man who believes in righteousness. His life takes an interesting turn when a new student, Janaki, joins his college. Initially, she perceives him as a rowdy due to his fierce reputation and an earlier incident where he confronted some thugs, but as she gets to know him better, her feelings shift, and she develops a romantic interest in him.

The story deepens when Srimannarayana rescues Janaki from a dangerous situation involving Gopi, a ruthless gangster and Gopi’s henchmen. During their confrontation, Janaki reveals her tragic past — her father, Jagadish Prasad, a businessman embroiled in a fierce rivalry with Gopi, had been pressured to offer Janaki in marriage to Gopi as part of a truce. This arrangement turned deadly when Gopi murdered Janaki’s brother after an insult during the wedding, prompting her father to send her away to Hyderabad for safety and continued studies.

As Srimannarayana vows to protect Janaki, he starts to realize his true feelings for her, leading to a romantic relationship. However, their happiness is short-lived when Gopi discovers Janaki’s whereabouts and kidnaps her. Srimannarayana, displaying his bravery, rescues her after an intense car chase. Their reunion is cut short when they are attacked again by Gopi’s men. At this moment, Jagadish arrives aiming to help but inadvertently injuries Srimannarayana’s grandmother, which sparks Srimannarayana’s fury and a desire for revenge.

In a shock revelation, Srimannarayana learns about his family’s brutal past. Years ago in the town of Bobbili, his grandfather Narasimha (/actor/nandamuri-balakrishna), a doctor, fought to protect the townsfolk from Veerakesavudu and his family, who ruled with terror supported by corrupt police. Narasimha had taken justice into his own hands, killing many henchmen of Veerakesavudu, including his own brothers, in an effort to restore peace. The evil Veerakesavudu, supported by his father and other villains, sought to eliminate Narasimha and his family, poisoning them during a temple event. Though Narasimha managed to fight back, he was ultimately killed, and Veerakesavudu himself was fatally wounded but managed to slip into a coma for 28 years.

Narasimha’s wife, Gayatri, and their young son Srimannarayana were forced to flee to Hyderabad to escape the violence in Bobbili. Now, grown-up and fueled by his family’s darkest history, Srimannarayana decides to avenge his loved ones. He journeys back to Bobbili and single-handedly takes down Veerakesavudu, Gopi, and their cronies, ending their reign of terror forever and fulfilling his father’s mission of justice. In doing so, Srimannarayana not only avenges his ancestors but also restores peace to a town ravaged by years of cruelty.

Throughout the story, Brahmanandam and other supporting characters add humor and depth, providing a well-rounded narrative of heroism, sacrifice, and justice. The film concludes with Srimannarayana winning not only in his quest for revenge but also in finding love, affirming that truth and righteousness can prevail over evil, no matter how long the darkness lasts.
