In a close-knit hometown, a benevolent mid-aged man, Relangi Mavayya Prakash Raj lives with his wife, their children, his aging mother, and the orphaned niece Seetha Anjali whom they fostered. Peddodu Venkatesh is steady yet reticent, having resigned from his uncle Brahmananda Rao’s company after a chastising clash, while Chinnodu Mahesh Babu is quick-witted and flirtatious, often stirring both laughter and trouble among friends and family. Friends and kin assume Seetha, being Peddodu’s cross cousin, would marry him, and Seetha herself harbors a quiet hope that he might acknowledge her fully, though she feels hurt when he never calls her by name.

Ramachandra Prasad, Seetha’s paternal uncle, a wealthy man, disapproves of Relangi Mavayya’s modest prosperity while Geetha Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Chinnodu meet at the wedding of Geetha’s elder sister and begin to feel a spark between them. Kondal Rao, a distant relative, and his son Gooduraju envy Relangi Mavayya and his sons’ standing among their circle; Goodu Raju Ravi Babu becomes part of the tension as envy fuels old rivalries. In a train encounter, Geetha’s elder sister and her in-laws cross paths with Relangi Mavayya and his daughter Chinni Abhinaya, and they begin to see in Chinni a potential match for a relative, a development that sets the alliance into motion.

Ramachandra Prasad seizes the wedding as an opportunity to humiliate Peddodu once more, aggravating the rift between the families. In response, Relangi Mavayya and his kin travel to Hyderabad in search of work, and Brahmananda Rao, the young boy’s uncle, apologizes for past wrongs and offers a job to Chinnodu. The tensions between Peddodu and Chinnodu deepen, leaving unresolved conversations hanging in the air. Yet a shared thread of loyalty persists, and fate nudges them toward a larger, unifying occasion.

The families converge at the annual Kalyanam festival of Rama and Sita in Bhadrachalam, a trip that brings Geetha and her kin into the same space as Relangi Mavayya’s clan. A short circuit during the celebrations plunges the crowd into chaos, but the two brothers—Peddodu and Chinnodu—step forward to rescue Geetha’s family and other devotees, earning praise from their father for their courage and reminding everyone of the enduring value of brotherhood and family above pride. Their acts spark a transformation: they begin to see the importance of compromise, care, and mutual respect.

Overhearing their heartfelt exchange, Ramachandra Prasad experiences a change of heart and begins to reform his stance, paving the way for reconciliation. Peddodu, finally addressing Seetha by her name, reveals the depth of his feelings for her, and the two marry with Geetha’s father performing the rituals on Seetha’s father’s behalf. Chinnodu and Geetha also find harmony after the upheaval, and the story closes on a note of renewed unity. In the final moments, Chinnodu and Peddodu celebrate their growth by buying bangles for their grandmother, a small, hopeful sign that they have secured steady footing and meaningful work in their lives.
