Tinker Bell, Mae Whitman buzzes around the busy Tinkerers’ Nook as the tinker fairies stitch snowflake baskets for the winter community. A flock of snowy owls soon arrives with a final shipment for Fairy Mary, Jane Horrocks, and Tinker Bell watches the birds head toward the Winter Woods with a mix of awe and curiosity. The day unfolds with hum of activity, and the air tinges with the quiet magic of Pixie Hollow as the seasons begin to hint at their delicate balance.

That same afternoon, the bold fairy volunteers to help Fawn, Angela Bartys, escort animals to the Winter Woods to hibernate. Fawn warns that they can only carry creatures to the border and cannot cross into the winter realm itself. While Fawn is distracted by a sleeping marmot, Tinker Bell slips across the border and steps into a world of glistening snow and strange colors that paint her wings. The sight fills her with wonder, but the moment is cut short when Fawn pulls her back into the warmth of the Autumn Woods. A Healing Fairy, Jodi Benson, tends to Tink’s wings, warming them back to their normal temperature, yet the spark of the Winter Woods lingers in her heart and in the peculiar shimmer on her wings.

In the Book Nook, Tinker Bell discovers a wing-shaped volume called Wingology, only to find the page on “Sparkling Wings” chewed away. A Reading Fairy, Thomas Lennon, explains that the book’s author, the Keeper, might offer help—but the Keeper lives in the Winter Woods. Fuelled by curiosity, Tink sprinkles a pinch of ambition into her plan and sneaks into the tinkers’ workshop, climbing into a snowflake basket to fly toward the winter realm. An owl’s accident sends the basket tumbling, and Tink crashes into the snow, losing the Wingology page in the bustle of the moment. Her book slips away, and Lord Milori, Timothy Dalton, the Lord of Winter, seizes the book from Sled, Matt Lanter. Milori cautions Dewey to return the book to the Keeper, and Tinker Bell trails Milori to the Hall of Winter, where she first glimpses the Keeper, Dewey, and a fluttering sense that something extraordinary is taking shape.

A winter fairy named Periwinkle, Lucy Hale, bursts into the scene with wings that begin to glow and sparkle, and Tink feels an undeniable pull toward her. The two meet and, under the watchful eye of the Reading Fairy, begin to understand that their wings share a shared glow that seems to bridge two nearby realms. As the two are drawn closer, the images around the giant snowflake reveal a vision of their shared potential: one path leading from the mainland toward Pixie Dust Tree, the other toward the Winter Woods. Tink and Peri realize they are fraternal twin sisters, linked by a magical spark that transcends borders.

Milori arrives, cautious and protective, and warns Dewey to send any “warm” fairy back to the Autumn Woods. Dewey reassures the girls that they can spend a little time visiting one another, and the pair press on with curiosity, visiting Periwinkle’s house, then the Frost Forest where Gliss, Grey DeLisle, and Spike, Debby Ryan, introduce them to a wider circle of winter friends. Their day hums with discovery as they search for a way to honor their bond without breaking the rules that keep Pixie Hollow safe.

That night, a small spark of mischief becomes a plan when Tink returns to her side of the border and asks her friends to help. She pretends to cry and convinces Periwinkle to meet her at the border the next day, hoping to find a way to bridge the two worlds. Back home, Tink enlists Clank, Jeff Bennett, and Bobble, Rob Paulsen, to assist with a snow-maker build that could cool Periwinkle’s wings and permit a temporary crossing. The excitement grows as more of Tink’s friends—from the warm side of Pixie Hollow—learn of the possibility of meeting Periwinkle, and the idea of a larger, kinder world begins to take shape.

The following day, Tinker Bell and Bobble pull Periwinkle to the border with a snow-maker in tow. Peri crosses into the warmer realm and meets a chorus of familiar faces—Fawn, Iridessa, Raven-Symoné Iridessa; Rosetta, Megan Hilty Rosetta; Silvermist, Lucy Liu; and Vidia, Pamela Adlon—as they guide her through the bright, bustling side of Pixie Hollow. Yet Periwinkle’s wings begin to wilt in the warmth, and a quick pivot is needed to ensure balance remains intact. The sisters retreat to the border to preserve her strength while they search for a solution.

Queen Clarion, Anjelica Huston, arrives with a patient, sorrowful explanation: the border was set to preserve each world’s safety after a tale of two lovers—one winter fairy, one warm-world fairy—who crossed the line and paid a painful price. The two lovers became a cautionary memory, and the rule endured to protect both realms. As the adults share the story, a sudden frost threatens to encroach on Autumn Woods and Springtime Square, and a snowstorm braces for impact. The warm fairies work alongside the winter talents to push the balance back toward safety, even as the Pixie Dust Tree itself comes under threat when the seasons slip further out of joint.

With the crisis escalating, warm fairies and winter fairies band together. The tinkers drape branches with leaf blankets; the animal talents evacuate vulnerable creatures; Iridessa and Silvermist coordinate safe havens; and Tink herself rushes to the Winter Woods to seek help from Gliss, Grey DeLisle, and Periwinkle. Spike notices that the task is too large for any single group, and the frost fairies—under Milori’s direction—divide the effort across the tree, spreading the workload to spring, summer, and autumn as needed. In a synchronized push, they frost the Pixie Dust Tree, buying just enough time to stave off total disaster.

As the frost crawls toward relief, Milori warns that the window is narrowing. Periwinkle hopes and prays that her plan will hold, while Queen Clarion covers her with a warm, protective shawl of winter feathers. The two leaders watch as the frost finally clings instead of spreading, and a glimmering dawn seems to hint at an answer.
