Pattas, also known as Sakthi, and his accomplice Puncture pull off a bold raid on a mixed martial arts academy in Chennai, driven by a long-standing feud with their neighborhood rival, Sadhana Sha. This dangerous heist sets off a chain of revelations that will bind blood, memory, and a fight for legacy. Meanwhile, Kanyakumari, a recently released convict from Kerala nicknamed Kanya, trails Nilapparai—the owner of the same MMA academy—with the aim of killing him. But fate throws a wrench into her plan when she runs into [Pattas], and she suddenly recognizes him as her son, Shakthi. Nilan, who rules the gym and its circle, quickly realizes that Kanya is not simply a target but a person who could unmask his hidden past, and he moves to capture her, only to fail in the moment Pattas intervenes. When Kanya arrives to meet Pattas, a trap laid by Sadhana Sha under Nilan’s orders leaves Kanya exposed, and she is left to face a brutal ambush. Pattas arrives just in time to save her, and the encounter forces him to confront echoes of a history he barely remembers.

The backstory gradually unfolds: in the past, Dhiraviya Perumal—Pattas’s father and a skilled Adimurai master known as Thiraviyam Perumal—learns his art from his teacher, Muthaiah Asaan, a formidable fighter who also happens to be Nilan’s father. This lineage roots Adimurai deep in Tamil Nadu’s traditions, even as the two families drift toward conflict. Nilan proves unable to master Adimurai and is defeated by Kanya in a fight, prompting him to leave his village. After this setback, Dhiraviya Perumal grasps that Adimurai remains largely unknown to Tamil Nadu and resolves to open a school to spread awareness of the ancient discipline. Nilan returns home, now a kickboxing contender, and tries to bend Adimurai into his own profit-driven scheme. He urges Dhiraviya Perumal to transform Adimurai into a kickboxing academy to reap bigger profits, but the elder refuses.

Tensions escalate as Nilan presses his plan to recruit Adimurai students into kickboxing, pressing his weight against Dhiraviya Perumal’s principled stance. An argument between Nilan’s brother-in-law and a boy escalates into a fight between Nilan and Dhiraviya Perumal, a clash that Dhiraviya Perumal easily wins. Enraged by the loss, Nilan retaliates by killing Muthaiah Asaan and poisoning the academy’s food, affecting staff, teachers, and students. The violence crescendos when Nilan and his friends burn the academy to the ground and massacre survivors, ultimately leaving Dhiraviya Perumal trapped inside and burned alive. Kanya witnesses the atrocity, escapes with Shakthi, and the traumatic events leave Shakthi injured and his memory fractured. He later forgets his past, and Kanya, in a moment of righteous anger, defeats one of Nilan’s henchmen, drawing the attention of the police. She is eventually imprisoned in Kerala, while Shakthi is found by Kolusu in Chennai, where he is adopted and renamed Pattas.

In the present day, Pattas swears vengeance for his father’s memory and enters the MMA event organized by Nilan. He trains in Adimurai under Kanya, who guides him through the discipline that shaped his father’s legacy. The fight night brings a brutal test: Nilan stages the bout with a Thai convict, a specialist who pushes Pattas to the edge. Pattas defeats the first foe, but the challenger sears him with a dagger-like stab to the right shoulder. Undeterred, Pattas presses on to face the next opponent and wins, proving his ambidexterity in the ring. Nilan then tries to have his son Richard employ shady tactics to end Pattas’s run, but Richard refuses and forfeits the match, revealing a complex moral line within Nilan’s camp. Sadhana Sha, who had been spying on Nilan, warns Pattas, but her warning comes at a painful price as she is hurled through a glass table and rushed to the hospital.

The duel between Pattas and Nilan resumes, and in a climactic confrontation, Pattas defeats Nilan and secures the championship. After the victory, Pattas delivers a speech about Adimurai and its meaning, emphasizing the discipline’s value beyond sport. His words resonate with the Tamil Nadu Sports Ministry, which ultimately recognizes Adimurai as an official sport, turning Dhiraviya Perumal’s dream of spreading Adimurai across Tamil Nadu into a new reality. The film closes on a note of reconciliation between past and present, as the ancient art finds a home in modern competition, and Pattas’s triumph becomes a bridge between families, memory, and a culture long denied a rightful place in the state’s sporting landscape.
