Paper Boy 2018

Megha Tanya Hope lives in Mumbai and learns she has only a few days to live due to a rare genetic disorder, which pushes her to seek her true purpose in life. At a temple, she comes across a page from a diary, and her curiosity deepens as she reads it. The diary contains the love story of Ravi, a paper boy, and Dharani Riya Suman, a wealthy girl. Dharani’s parents oppose the relationship, stirring trouble that pulls the couple apart.

The diary’s narrative ends on a cliff-hanger, prompting Megha to travel to Hyderabad based on the address found in the book to uncover what really happened. She discovers Dharani in Ravi’s house, but the shocking truth is revealed: Ravi is dead, though Megha hadn’t witnessed it firsthand.

By chance, they come across a distinctive bouquet of flowers that serves as Ravi’s signature. With new hope that Ravi might still be alive, Megha, Dharani, and Megha’s fiancé set out to locate the bouquet maker’s address. They eventually reach Pune, a cottage near flower fields, but a nearby stranger insists that no one named Ravi lives there. Disappointed, Dharani and the group are about to give up when a dog named Appu appears, leading them to Ravi, who is working in a garden nearby, and the reunion is joyous.

Megha feels content that her purpose in life has been fulfilled: bringing these two lovers back together. The film closes on the note that Ravi and Dharani’s love is genuine, guiding them back to each other.
