Two years have passed since the events of Boyz, and Kabir has undergone a quiet but sharp transformation after his mother’s death. He now spends a lot of time online, shaping a new self on social media, and lives with his aunt Radhika and her live-in partner Alok. This new living arrangement sits uneasily with him, especially given his discomfort with their non-marital setup. The memories of the ragging he endured in the boys’ hostel still haunt him, driving him to plan a withdrawal from hostel life so he can focus on his 12th-grade studies.

Across the campus, Dhungya and Dhairya continue their reputation for mischievous bravado, keeping the energy of their group alive as they navigate growing pressures and campus politics. The return of Naru Bondwe—son of college trustee Madan Bondwe—reignites the old rivalry with the juniors. With the juniors and seniors repeatedly clashing, Kabir starts to distance himself from the hostel crowd, choosing to keep a safer distance from the escalating tensions even as Dhungya and others push forward with their usual defiance.
