Spoilers ahead

Budapest, at the dawn of the 20th century, is a city where the street becomes the arena for two rival youth gangs: the Paul Street Gang and the Red Shirts. The Paul Street Gang is led by János Boka, William Burleigh, while the Red Shirts are commanded by the brutal Feri Áts, Julien Holdaway. The stakes are plain and personal: a patch of ground on Paul Street—the playground known as the Grund—has become the prize not only of pride but of survival, and both sides are ready to deploy whatever means they have to claim it.
