
The twins Géza and Bandi are the eldest of twelve Gyurkovics children, both preparing for their matriculation exams. On graduation day Géza refuses to comply and is seized by the principal’s henchmen. After their father dies, Bandi inherits the family’s affairs while Géza becomes an officer cadet in a nearby garrison town.
