What Is Normandy - Neman About?
The premise of Normandy - Neman without spoilers.
Refusing to accept the 1940 armistice and Vichy directives, a group of French fighter pilots escapes to the Soviet Union. In Moscow they undergo further training and form a unit they name “Normandie”. Reinforced in 1944, the squadron scores numerous victories, and after its heroic actions in the Battle of the Niemen River, it is renamed “Normandie‑Niemen” for posterity.
