What Is Queen Margot About?
The premise of Queen Margot without spoilers.
Marguerite de Valois, daughter of Catherine de Médicis, marries Henri de Navarre in a supposed reconciliation between the Catholic League and the Huguenots, but the wedding is used to lure Huguenots to Paris for massacre. Amid the St. Bartholomew’s Day riots, Queen Margot struggles to protect her husband, thwart an annulment, and hide two wounded knights from opposing sides, falling for one as she races to warn Henri of further attacks.
