Spoilers ahead
Miss Blandish, Linden Travers, a sheltered heiress, becomes the target of a simple robbery that spirals into a brutal clash between rival gangs over her diamond jewelry worth $100,000.
The botched heist is interrupted when Riley, Richard Nielson is knocked down by her bridegroom, Foster Harvey John McLaren, and the ensuing gunfight leaves Harvey and several attackers dead. The surviving robber drives away with Miss Blandish, leaving the bodies behind.
Bailey then reconnects with two members of the Grisson gang, and they decide to hold Blandish for ransom, reasoning that her father is incredibly wealthy.
She ends up in the clutches of the Grisson gang, and her father, John Blandish Percy Marmont, hires a private detective to locate her.
