Roopa leads a luxurious life with her widowed father, Captain Suresh, and her brother Shekhar. After returning from abroad, she learns that she is being prepared to marry her betrothed, Ratan, the son of a close family friend. The arrangement seems secure until she Meets a handsome stranger named Raj, and the spark between them quickly grows into a forbidden romance that unsettles the order of Roopa’s world.

Raj reveals a troubling truth: his mother, Malti, who works as a maid in Suresh’s household, has long favored Ratan and has urged Raj to stay away. This revelation unsettles Roopa, adding a layer of complexity to the budding relationship and casting doubt on Raj’s intentions and loyalties.

Before Roopa can uncover the full reason behind Malti’s preference for Ratan, trouble arrives in the form of a bandit known as Kala Ghoda who terrorizes the region and extorts Rs.50,000. The police set a trap and capture the extortionist, only to uncover a shocking twist: Kala Ghoda turns out to be Suresh’s Munim, the trusted accountant who handles the household finances and who may have siphoned off another Rs.50,000.

The surprise doesn’t stop there. The revelation that the Munim is actually Raj—someone who has masqueraded as the Munim for years and whose motives remain unclear—throws the entire family into doubt.
