Radha, Sridevi, is the village’s notorious prankster, leading a playful gang that stirs up mischief and often ends up before the village court. Their schemes paint a lively, small-town picture of life where every caper is met with a mix of laughter and wary glances, and Radha’s name is spoken with both affection and exasperation.

Masterji, Rajesh Khanna, arrives in the village with his infant in his arms to take the vacant teaching post at the local school. He moves through the first days with a calm, practical demeanor, carrying a book in one hand while rocking the cradle with the other. The sight amuses and charms the villagers, who watch an unlikely educator navigate a classroom, a baby, and the insistently mischievous crowd outside.
