Movie Maniacs 1936

Three hapless stowaways—the Stooges—board a boxcar bound for Hollywood, convinced they will become stars despite having no qualifications. They dream of fame as Moe Howard, Larry Fine, and Curly Howard portraying the trio, full of confidence and mischief as they ride toward a future they barely understand. They trespass into a movie studio, where the studio boss, waiting for the arrival of three New York executives poised to assume control, mistakes the Stooges for the executives and grants them complete authority over film production, setting the stage for a comedy of errors that spirals from the very first moment.

The trio’s tenure begins on a raucous note when they burst onto a romantic drama set, destroying the scene and enraging the director.
