Ramachandran Sachin Khedekar is a gifted yet underfunded geneticist who dreams of designing a child with multiple talents. In pursuit of this bold idea, he conducts early experiments that lead to the birth of twins who are conjoined above the waist and share a single heart. Their mother, Sudha Tara, objects to a sacrificial surgery that would separate them, and the family learns to navigate life with their extraordinary condition under a steady, if anxious, care. As the boys grow, the stakes rise: the idea of recognition and money pulls Ramachandran deeper into controversial science, while Sudha remains the quiet anchor, steering the family through fear, hope, and the ache of sacrifice.

Years pass, and Ramachandran’s breakthroughs expand into a business empire. Locus Lacto Products’ flagship Energion becomes a market sensation—a children’s powdered-milk energy drink that rockets the company to fame. The twins mature into two strikingly different individuals: Vimalan and Akhilan, Suriya in the principal roles, who are poles apart in temperament—Vimalan is studious, principled, and keen on learning, while Akhilan is carefree, sociable, and less adept at academics. The two are drawn into the company’s orbit when Anjali Kajal Agarwal joins as a translator and quickly becomes part of their lives; she falls for Vimalan, even as Akhilan watches with a mix of pride and wary jealousy. Their circle also includes Volga, a sharp-witted journalist who travels with them and whom Anjali befriends; Volga is portrayed by Irina Maleva.

Volga’s apparent charm hides a dangerous truth: she is a spy intent on stealing Energion’s trade secrets. Her plan unravels when Ramachandran exposes the ruse and ejects her from the operation. Before dying, Volga swallows a pen drive packed with crucial evidence and is cast out of the building. Anjali obtains the footage from the autopsy and hands the drive to Vimalan, hoping to safeguard the truth. However, the situation spirals into a violent confrontation: goons raid the twins’ circle to seize the drive, and a brutal fight leaves Vimalan severely injured. He is declared brain dead, and his heart is transplanted into Akhilan, separating the twins physically but fusing their destinies in a new, painful way. The loss shatters Akhilan, even as Anjali’s grief gradually matures into a cautious, resilient bond with him.

Sudha grows uneasy about Energion’s safety and presses for answers, only to see a routine raid declare Energion safe and hygienic. Behind the scenes, Akhilan uncovers a deeper conspiracy: his father’s actions reach far beyond the immediate tragedy. He tracks down Dinesh, the assistant who has been complicit in the scheme, and recovers the pen drive’s damning footage, which hints at a broader crime spanning continents. The investigation points toward Ukraine, where researchers and officials reveal that Energion was originally a steroid designed to boost the performance of athletes at the world games. The truth shakes the family as Akhilan realizes the scale of manipulation at work.

Together with Anjali, Akhilan seeks the source of the fraud, aided by an official at the Indian Embassy in Ukraine. The mission turns deadly when Dinesh ambushes them, killing their ally Ashok in the process. The recovered images reveal a darker past: Energion’s ingredients were used to help athletes who competed under the Olympic flag in 1992, and the “plane crash” that claimed many lives was a sham designed to suppress the truth. An ionization enhancer is needed to detect the adulterant, and the investigation traces the crime back to Ramachandran’s network. When they return to India, Ramachandran is confronted with overwhelming evidence and faces possible arrest. He reveals that Energion was built not from a single product but from the DNA of many people in society—an attempt to use the world as his laboratory. As the conflict escalates, Ramachandran’s resolve fails; his leg is crushed in a later assault, and Akhilan leaves him to die at the mercy of rats. In the aftermath, Akhilan is celebrated as a national hero for bravery, marries Anjali, and they become parents to twins, carrying forward a complex legacy of genius, ambition, and sacrifice.

In the end, the story lingers on the ethical shadows cast by scientific ambition and corporate power, balancing the personal gains of achievement with the collective cost borne by those who bear the consequences. The film closes on a note of cautious hope, with Akhilan and Anjali building a life together and guiding the next generation with a renewed sense of responsibility.
