Ravi, Vidharth, a young man suffering from tunnel vision, works as a collection boy in a credit card recovery office. He lives in a housing colony where the first floor is his home and, across the ground floor, Swetha, Aishwarya Rajesh, appears to be a modern, carefree presence. Ravi often watches her from his balcony, sometimes in silence, others in quiet scrutiny. Swetha is often seen with visitors, including her boss, Rahman, Vijay Prakash, who brings her a birthday gift, and Arun, Srinish Aravind, who seems to be her boyfriend. One night Ravi notices Arun leaving Swetha’s house in a confrontation, and the image sticks with him as Arun drives away.

Ravi’s eye condition worsens, and his doctor warns that without an eye transplant his vision could deteriorate further. The estimated cost sits at ₹3,20,000, a sum that Ravi does not have. He attempts to borrow from his boss, hoping for a loan, but the request is rejected. The stakes climb quickly as Ravi contemplates the future of his sight and his livelihood, pressed by the possibility of a lifetime of dependence.

Then comes the night of the tragedy. Ravi sees Vijay Prakash leaving Swetha’s house in a panicked state and, upon investigation, discovers Swetha dead in a pool of blood. Convinced of a killer not far away, Ravi confronts Vijay Prakash. The boss denies the murder but proposes a deal: stay quiet about what happened, and in return, Ravi would receive ₹3,20,000 to fund his surgery. With his future on the line, Ravi agrees and the two part ways, each carrying the weight of a secret.

The medical bill surprise escalates when Ravi visits the hospital again. The full surgery cost turns out to be ₹4,82,000 due to additional charges. When Ravi asks Vijay Prakash for more money, he is refused; the deal is over. The investigation deepens, and the police begin questioning everyone in the colony, eventually visiting Ravi’s home. He claims ignorance but, angered by the lack of support, admits that he saw a man near Swetha’s house the night of the murder.

Arun, still under scrutiny, applies for anticipatory bail. Ravi is drawn into the case as a key witness because his identification of Arun could shape the verdict. He reaches out to Vijay Prakash again, threatening that if he reveals anything to the police, Ravi will expose him and his business network. This results in a new arrangement: ₹2,00,000 for silence.

A startling turn comes when Ravi is assaulted by a stranger as he leaves the hospital. He confronts Vijay Prakash and demands ₹25,00,000, to which the millionaire responds that he did not kill Swetha but finally agrees to pay after a tense standoff, admitting to an affair with Swetha. In the court, Arun is cross-examined, testifying about his relationship with Swetha but alleging he left when marriage was mentioned. Ravi’s own statement—omitting that Swetha had been seen alive after he left—helps secure a life sentence for Arun along with a hefty fine. Ravi returns a portion of the money and goes back home, where the landlord pressures him to vacate for a relative, forcing him to start packing.

Anu, Ravi’s close ally, is fired for helping him contact Vijay Prakash, and the couple’s fragile alliance begins to crack. Ravi keeps a secret phone with a wallpaper of himself and Swetha, a personal memento that now feels like a time bomb. The truth behind Swetha’s life unravels: Ravi and Swetha had a relationship, but she began avoiding him after learning about his eye condition. To Ravi’s horror, Swetha was unfaithful, sleeping with multiple men for pleasure and profit. Overwhelmed by rage and betrayal, Ravi confronts Swetha and ends up killing her.

The film then turns to the medical reckoning. The same doctor who initially diagnosed Ravi’s eye condition reveals that the diagnosis was an outcome of hospital pressures rather than a medical truth, and that the condition is indeed incurable. Ravi is told his poor prognosis will persist regardless of the transplant, sealing his fate. This revelation shatters him, confirming that his grave mistake has become his punishment.

Some years pass and Ravi has moved to Kolkata. He marries Anu, who is now pregnant, and, incredibly, he is completely blind. The ending underscores the weight of his choices—his mistakes echo through his life and become the ultimate consequences of his actions. The final image is a stark meditation on responsibility, desire, deceit, and the irremediable cost of letting fear and pride guide one’s decisions.
