Despite his aspirations, Neil keeps his relationship with the popular influencer Laxmi Lalvani, known as Lala, a secret because of the societal pressures and fears of judgment. This secrecy and his desire for validation lead him into a web of emotional complexity. Neil’s insecurities come to a head when he stumbles upon Lala posting a picture kissing another man, prompting her to reveal that she only spent time with him out of boredom and never truly considered their connection genuine. This revelation hurts Neil deeply, resulting in her filing a complaint that gets him fired from his job. After her boyfriend, Rohan, unexpectedly asks for a break, she becomes obsessed with stalking him online. Her investigation reveals that he has moved on and is now with a new girl, Tanya.
