Life Mein Kabhie Kabhiee (2007): Cast, Box Office & Plot

The film opens with a press conference by Manish Gupta, proudly promoting his best-selling book Life Mein Kabhie Kabhiee and hinting at the reflective journey to come. The screen then slides into a vivid flashback, revealing five friends fresh out of college and bound by a shared curiosity about what truly brings happiness. Among them are the sharply ambitious Rajeev Arora, the politically minded Jai Prakash Gokhale, the calculating journalist of Ishita Sharma, and the aspiring starlet Monica Seth, alongside Manish, who has already begun shaping a path toward literary fame. The group finds themselves in trouble after a night of drinking, ending up in a lockup, where a bold bet is born: the winner will be the one who experiences the most happiness in life within five years.
