Khamoshh… Khauff Ki Raat 2005

This film unfolds as a double‑sided narrative, weaving the present with a tense, interlaced flashback. In the present, psychiatrist Dr. Sagar, Juhi Chawla Mehta uncovers clues about a serial killer who was once in her care. She insists the killer is a mental patient with dual personalities and fights to prove this before the law moves to hang him. To challenge the looming execution, Dr. Sagar arranges an emergency midnight meeting with a judge and higher officials, including Avtar Gill as Justice D.S. Singh, to scrutinize the case from every angle and uncover hidden truths that could change the outcome.

Meanwhile, a stormy night drives a diverse group of travelers to seek shelter at a haunted motel. The receptionist‑cum‑bearer Adi, Vrajesh Hirjee, efficiently corrals the guests into separate rooms, trying to keep fear at bay. Among them are a husband, Avinash (the man who accompanies his injured wife and her stepson), and Kashmira, Rakhi Sawant a glamorous actress and model whose life is watched over by Avinash as her bodyguard. A honeymooning couple, Varun, Rajat Bedi, and Mahek share the same fate, while Sonia, Shilpa Shetty Kundra the bar dancer, brings her own edge to the night. Jatin, Shawar Ali, a police inspector in the middle of transferring a convict, also takes shelter within the motel’s creaking walls.
