What is the name of Alby's girlfriend?
Read the complete plot summary of Kasargold, including all major events, twists, and the full ending explained in detail. Explore key characters, themes, hidden meanings, and everything you need to understand the story from beginning to end.
Alby, Asif Ali, is a short-tempered man who, with his girlfriend Malavika Sreenath as Nancy, smuggles gold to Kanhangad for the jewellery owner Moosa Haji, [Siddique]. On the way back, they collide with Faisal, Sunny Wayne, but Nancy stops them and they head off to deliver the gold. The plan seems momentarily to succeed, yet tension remains as loyalties blur and the danger of getting caught tightens its grip around everyone involved.
Past events unfold to reveal how the scheme began. Alby is sent to pick up Muhammad, Babu Annur, a man carrying gold worth ₹80 lakh who was supposed to sell it to Moosa and take the money. Two other people sent by Firoz steal the gold from Muhammad by posing as Moosa’s men. Muhammad, desperate and betrayed, goes to the police to file a complaint, but he soon meets a tragic end by his own hand. In the wake of this tragedy, Alby meets Muhammad’s son Faisal, Sunny Wayne (though the narrative treats Faisal as a separate continuity here), and helps him understand Firoz’s involvement in his father’s death. The two form an uneasy alliance to seek restitution, setting in motion a plan for revenge that will echo across the present.
In the present, Moosa discovers that Alby masterminded the theft and, after consulting with Narayanan, P. P. Kunhikrishnan, sends CI Alex to bring back Alby and Faisal. The pair attempt to sell the gold in Kanhangad but narrowly evade capture and flee toward a new opportunity in Goa. There they meet Vishnu, Deepak Parambol and his friends, and Alby poses as a stranger while Faisal goes by another alias, hoping to blend in and strike a deal. Vishnu’s father is connected to a jewellery business in Kasaragod, which adds a new layer of risk to every move they make. Alex tracks them to Goa, breaks into their room, and launches an attack, but the two manage to slip away again.
Their flight leads them to a hotel where a street-wise confrontation with local thugs escalates quickly, and Vijayan’s ally, Vijayan, Prasant Murali, is drawn into the fray as the tension sharpens. With resources dwindling, Alby and Faisal retreat to a secluded forest hideout, realizing they have run out of kerosene to start a fire that could shield them from pursuit. Faisal travels to a nearby house to fetch kerosene and uncovers a disturbing truth: Vishnu is actually Narayanan’s nephew Suresh. Faisal returns to warn Alby, but Suresh and his gang strike first, triggering a brutal countdown of violence. In the ensuing clash, Alby and Faisal fight back and manage to kill Suresh and his gang. Alex arrives at the scene again and shoots Faisal and Alby, but the authorities arrest Alex for being a suspended officer. Faisal dies in the shootout, while Alby survives and, from a prison cell, sends a defiant note to Alex, vowing that he will come for him for killing Faisal. The story closes on a grim note, with a vengeful arc set in motion and the question of what justice can mean for those left standing.
