Captain Jahan Bakshi, Pulkit Samrat, is a passionate army officer who believes he can bend destiny to his will and steer his own path through life. Suhani, Yami Gautam, a Punjabi girl from an army family, is found swimming in a restricted area and is rescued by him, though she does not want help. Her rescue triggers a tense start, and she must remain in the army camp for a day due to procedure, during which she asks Jahan to sign the apology letter.
An invitation to a Christmas party from the investigating officer sets off a chain of charged moments. After the party, they meet again at a riverside, where Jahan tears the letter, and Suhani dares him to apologize or she will leap. He doesn’t respond, so Suhani leaps, only to be saved by him in the water. The next morning, Jahan visits Suhani at the hospital and returns the apology letter, and a quiet bond begins to form between them. What starts as attraction gradually deepens into something more, as they share small, meaningful moments that reveal hidden vulnerabilities and a growing trust.
Their connection blossoms further when Jahan travels to Amritsar to meet Suhani, and she plans a little getaway for them by bending the truth with her parents. On her return, Suhani’s father rails against her, confiscates her phone, and imposes strict limits, fearing that Jahan could be lost in the line of duty and that Suhani would be heartbreakingly left behind. He gives Jahan a stark choice: quit the army or part ways with Suhani. Jahan rejects the ultimatum, and Suhani, feeling cornered, elopes. But when she reaches the army camp, she sees a girl embracing Jahan and misreads the scene, deciding to return home.
The narrative pivots back to Jahan’s courage and duty as he and his team rescue people trapped under snow. Those survivors invite him to the wedding of their son Yash, Gulshan Devaiah, a moment that brings the lovers’ fate into clearer focus. At the ceremony, Jahan realizes the bride is Suhani, and Rangoli, Aneesha Joshi, steps in to clear the confusion and urges him to declare his true feelings for Suhani. Jahan writes a letter to her, but it is read aloud by Yash, who proclaims that he cannot be cruel enough to stand in the way of their happiness. Suhani’s father, sensing the sincerity of their bond, also comes to accept their love. The story culminates in a reunion where Suhani and Jahan share a kiss, choosing each other again after all the trials they have faced.
