Julie and Dick at Covent Garden (1974): Cast

Filmed on April 21, 1974, the special stars Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke with guest Carl Reiner. A studio set recreates Covent Garden’s streets for slap‑stick, a “Cinderella” pantomime parody, and a WWII vignette. Songs flow, highlighted by Paddy Stone Dancers, and the finale blends numbers from “Rose Marie” to “Hello, Dolly!” Blake Edwards produced, Dennis Vance directed, script by Marty Farrell and Frank Waldman.
