What Is I’ve Never Been to New York About?

The premise of I’ve Never Been to New York without spoilers.

TV presenter Lisa's life is consumed by her talk show and ratings, leaving little space for love or her mother, Maria. After Maria suffers a fall and loses her memory, she inexplicably remembers only that she's never been to New York, prompting an immediate journey. Lisa joins the search for her mother, accompanied by her makeup artist, Fred. They find passage on a cruise ship bound for New York, becoming stowaways and needing to earn their way. While Fred assists a magician, Lisa and Maria work in room service, leading to unexpected romantic developments: Maria finds love with a charming dancer, and Lisa connects with a statistician and his son.
