What Is Incident at Blood Pass About?
The premise of Incident at Blood Pass without spoilers.
Set in the Edo period, a nameless ronin is hired to wait at a mountain pass. On the way he stops at an inn where a motley crowd—including a gang intent on stealing an upcoming shogunate gold convoy—has gathered. His secret orders demand he kill the inn’s occupants, among them a woman he rescued from an abusive husband. Unwilling to betray innocents, he learns the gold shipment is a trap and that he has been double‑crossed, testing his samurai honor, loyalties and the love he has found.
