Sivaraman, Mohanlal, is a once-brilliant criminal lawyer who now exits each day in a fog of alcohol. His impressive courtroom record is a distant memory, and his clients have long since abandoned him. Yet he manages to maintain a fragile public image, aided by a devout follower named Chandy, Jagathy Sreekumar, who rescues him from the worst of his drunken outbursts. In a surprising turn of fortune, Sivaraman’s life takes a skewed but loyal turn when he befriends three notorious local rowdies and makes them part of his shrinking circle of influence: Vedakkancherry Vakkachen, Spadikam George the most conspicuous of the trio, along with Bathery Bappu and Pattambi Ravi, known by the nicknames “Kolakolli” and “Chattambi” Ravi respectively.
