Erskineville Kings (1999): Cast & Plot

Barky, Marty Denniss returns to Sydney after two years in the northern sugar cane country, arriving at Central Station at dawn to locate his brother Wace, [Hugh Jackman]. The homecoming sets a quiet but tense stage as the siblings confront the years they spent apart and the weight of their father’s illness looming over their lives.

Through flashbacks, we learn that Barky left home two years earlier to escape his father’s violent rages and to forge his own path.
