What Is Eclipse About?
The premise of Eclipse without spoilers.
The film follows villagers Osaki Shuichi and his cousin Nishimiura Kinue as they leave their rural home for Tokyo. Though they love each other, Kinue is expected to marry lawyer Kanda Seiji. Shuichi becomes a tutor for the son of the Iwaki family, while a heart‑broken Kinue works as a bar hostess, confronting hardships and broken romance.
