In Kolkata, the tale follows Akash, the son of a multimillionaire who chases sports more eagerly than academics. His world collides with Meghna, the first girl in his class and the daughter of a fisherman, who initially hates him because she believes in a different path for life. Yet, as days pass, the stubborn spark between them softens, and what starts as contempt gradually blooms into love.

Their romance faces immediate resistance from both families. To keep them apart, the parents concoct a harsh test: they must abstain from meeting for a full year.
