Naren Ahuja [Ajay Devgn] is a bank manager whose marriage to Madhvi [Rituparna Sengupta] has frayed into a routine of silence and note-passing, with the pair even communicating through sticky notes on the refrigerator. Their love for their daughter Purvi doesn’t rescue the relationship, and a fast-tracked divorce seems inevitable—though the lawyer Sunanda warns it could still take six months.

Abhay Suri [Emraan Hashmi] is a swaggering gym trainer and a self-professed playboy who’s used to women foot‑sampling his expenses. Milind Kelkar [Omi Vaidya], who works at a matrimonial company, is a quiet poet at heart and longs for true love. After both men are kicked out of their rented places—Abhay for bringing women into his life at the gym, Milind for pressuring a landlord to fix a leaking roof—they end up as paying guests in Naren’s spacious house, each paying a hefty deposit of Rs 1 Lakh to share the big, echoing space.

The arrangement isn’t smooth. Abhay’s chaotic energy clashes with Milind’s more measured sensibilities, and Abhay’s antics—like devouring Milind’s food and invading his privacy—test their new living situation. Naren, feeling lonely in his own house, welcomes the company as a balm, and the three men begin to tell each other their life stories, trading tips on navigating love and the world of adults who are trying to reinvent themselves.

Naren’s gaze drifts toward June Pinto [Shazahn Padamsee], an intern at his bank. The dynamic is complicated by the age gap: Naren is 38, June is 21, and the tension between caution and desire threads through their interactions as they inch toward something affectionate but uncertain.

A chance invitation draws Milind to the stage at a pub called The Satisfied Indian, where he is asked to recite poetry. The event is hosted by Gungun Sarkar [Shraddha Das], a bold radio host whose show looms large in Milind’s world. Milind wins the competition, and his connection with Gungun deepens, even as he remains focused on impressing her and winning a place in her orbit.

Meanwhile, Abhay’s life takes a sharp turn when Mona, a supermodel he once dated, dies and the funeral draws in Anushka Narang [Tisca Chopra], a former Ms. India turned wife of a wealthy businessman who’s attracted to younger men. Abhay begins an affair with Anushka after catching her eye at a dog clinic she frequents; he even buys a puppy and names it Kasab to present a feigned image of a devoted dog lover. Their relationship grows through flirtations and late-night meetings, including a dance club encounter that cements Anushka’s attraction to him. Anushka’s presence complicates everything, as she begins to rely on Abhay’s attention even as her life at home grows tenser.

Amid these entanglements, the three friends share their experiences and try to offer each other advice, embarking on a practical, almost therapeutic, approach to love in the modern world. Abhay uses his confidence to pursue Anushka; Milind uses his poetry and emotional sensitivity to chase Gungun; and Naren wrestles with his feelings for June while juggling work and family life.

As the triangle of Affection, Ambition, and Loyalty intensifies, Nikki Narang [Shruti Haasan], Anushka’s stepdaughter, enters the scene. Abhay is drawn to Nikki and begins pulling away from Anushka, eventually breaking off the relationship with her mentor and lover. Nikki’s presence intensifies the heartbreak and sparks a reevaluation among all three men about the kind of connection they truly want.

Gungun’s career ambitions press on Milind, who ends up covering the costs of her nights out, her entries into elite clubs, and even her expensive photo shoots worth lakhs. She pushes Milind to be more involved in her professional dreams, even as his own poetry wins prestige. The dynamic becomes a test of generosity, expectation, and the limits of devotion in a world where art, fame, and romance intersect.

June, still central to Naren’s life, drifts through a series of social dinners and parties that bring old flames and new energies into the foreground. June’s grandmother invites Naren to dinner, and through these moments, the bond between him and June deepens. Chris, June’s ex, reappears in a tense scene where he’s insulted by Naren, prompting June to intervene. She eventually uses her influence to bail Chris out when he’s arrested for drunk driving, revealing the complicated network of personal favors and loyalties that bind the trio.

As tensions mount, the trio decides to escape for a change of scene and head to Goa. They vow to stay away from the complicated entanglements of romance, hoping a retreat might reset their paths. But Goa doesn’t offer the quiet escape they expect; instead, they encounter three new girls who tempt them toward fresh temptations, reminding them that old desires can be hard to leave behind.

The film continually threads themes of desire, loyalty, and the difficulty of balancing personal happiness with the responsibilities of relationships. It paints a portrait of three friends navigating love’s twists—between old commitments and new attractions, between career pressures and personal dreams—set against the backdrop of urban life, nightlife, and the moments of vulnerability that define modern relationships.
