What Is Dhool About?

Arumugham, an uneducated but kind village man, lives with his childhood friend Easwari. A chemical plant pollutes the river, endangering villagers’ drinking water and their pleas fail. The villagers send Arumugham to Chennai to confront the minister who represents them. He travels with Easwari and her grandmother, staying with his friend’s group.
