The premise of Dandelion Dead without spoilers.
Based on the true case of Major Herbert Rowse Armstrong, a solicitor and magistrate’s clerk in Hay‑on‑Wye, Wales, the film follows his 1921 arrest for allegedly poisoning his domineering wife, Catherine, and attempting to poison business rival Oswald Martin with arsenic. At trial he claimed the poison was bought only to kill dandelions, but he was found guilty of murder and executed in 1922.
