Cristina is a married mother of a young daughter who works as a stage actress, and she belongs to Romania’s Hungarian minority. The film follows her through a life that feels weighed down by a dismissive director at work and a husband who imposes control at home, creating a sense of everyday pressure that she carries with quiet resilience. Into this world steps Rafael, a handsome Romani teenager who works at a car wash and dreams of boxing. He notices Cristina in public with a discreet magnetism, and he starts to follow her, drawn by an attraction that feels risky and forbidden. After a cautious exchange, she agrees to have a drink in a café on one condition: he must promise to leave her alone.
