Pierce as Dr. Lockhart, a professor of anthropology at the University of Arkansas, is drawn into a field inquiry after a sheriff reports a Bigfoot-like sighting near a remote town in southwestern Arkansas. He recruits three companions to assist: Tim Chuck Pierce Jr., Tanya Yazzie Serene Hedin, and Tanya’s friend Leslie Ann Walker Cindy Butler. The group heads for the Boggy Creek area near Fouke, setting up camp in the woods with a pop-up camper trailer and securing the perimeter with a SONAR system.
