From their shared Delhi flat, a close-knit group of migrants from Northeast India—Upasana (played by Sayani Gupta), Chanbi (played by Lin Laishram), and Balamon (played by [Merenla Imsong])—along with Zorem and Minam, rally to help their friend get ready for her wedding. When Minam is suddenly called away for an interview, the three friends dig in to keep the plans alive, turning their attention to cooking a special dish, Axone, that will feature at the celebration. The flat’s tight quarters and cultural expectations quickly turn the wedding into a little theatre of pressure, humor, and stubborn hope.

The group’s push to prepare Axone collides with practical roadblocks. The landlord’s strict rules—backed by his mother-in-law, who forbids parties and spicy cooking in the flat—threaten their plan at every turn. Undeterred, they search for the right ingredients and brainstorm alternate spaces, hoping to avoid drawing the locals’ attention while they cook.
