The premise of Anastasia: the Czar’s Last Daughter without spoilers.
In 1920, a nameless 24‑year‑old woman is rescued from Berlin’s Landwehr Canal after attempting suicide. With no identification or memories, authorities place her in the Dallendorf mental institution. One fellow patient becomes convinced she is the surviving daughter of the Romanov czar, Anastasia, presumed the only member of the royal family to have escaped the 1918 massacre.
