His immediate junior, Yashpal Sharma as Sub-Inspector Imtiaz Siddiqui, resents Sadhu and chases encounter counts as a measure of his own worth, often blurring the line between justice and bravado. All of them, including Sadhu, report to Mohan Agashe as Ex-Commissioner Pradhan, a fair and principled leader who tries to steer the department through murky political waters.

With retirement looming for Pradhan, the arrival of the new commissioner, Jeeva as M.I. Suchek, brings a different dynamic to the force. Following the killing, Sadhu resigns from the force, and Jeeva as Suchak, acting on orders from the underworld, sends Imtiaz to eliminate Sadhu. The attempt ends with Imtiaz’s death in a strange sequence of events, and Sadhu is branded a fugitive from the law.

Suchak’s shoot‑at‑sight order against Sadhu throws the city into a manhunt, while Pradhan expresses caution and laments the slippery slope of corruption. With the net closing in, Sadhu seeks help from Zameer, stepping into a dangerous alliance that could seal his fate. The plan culminates in a dramatic confrontation at Zameer’s headquarters, where Sadhu uses a broken glass to kill Zameer and escape, revealing a calculated strategy to rise above the limits of the law.

The story then shifts abroad, where Sadhu and Pradhan share coffee and a tense exchange. When asked why he fled, Sadhu explains that his escape was part of a larger plan: to confront Rajashekhar and dismantle the underworld from the shadows, a path he believes only a former cop can walk. He asks Pradhan to look after his son, who is staying with his maternal aunt in Pune, and the two men part with a sense of unresolved duty.
