Shahana Goswami (born May 6, 1986) is an Indian actress whose career has been marked by a blend of mainstream popularity and independent‑film credibility. Born in New Delhi to the noted economist and writer Omkar Goswami, she grew up in an intellectually vibrant household that encouraged artistic curiosity. While still completing her college education, Goswami entered the world of performance through a theatre circle where she met talent consultant Shaanu Sharma, whose recommendation led to a small but memorable part as Boman Irani’s daughter in Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. Her breakthrough arrived with the musical drama Rock On!! (2008), where her portrayal of Debbie earned her the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress and cemented her reputation as a versatile performer capable of balancing depth with charisma.
