**Prashant Narayanan** (born *31 March 1969* in Kannur, Kerala) is an Indian actor celebrated for his intense portrayals of antagonistic and morally ambiguous characters across Hindi and Malayalam cinema. *Born into a Malayali family*, he spent his formative years in Delhi, where he excelled as the state badminton champion and pursued higher education at Kirori Mal College, Delhi University. After graduating, he initially moved to Mumbai in 1991 with entrepreneurial ambitions to launch an advertising agency, but soon discovered his passion for the visual arts, working as an assistant art director on acclaimed films such as Govind Nihalani’s *Rukmavati Ki Haveli*, Subhash Ghai’s *Saudagar*, and Shyam Benegal’s *Sardari Begum*.
