Fateh, played by Prashant Narayanan, is a small-time pickpocket on the rise, aspiring to succeed Mamu, the local gang leader, played by Pavan Malhotra. Throughout their journey, the duo develop a bond, becoming close friends and partners in crime, working in perfect coordination to steal wallets across Mumbai’s bustling streets.

Fateh’s romantic pursuits add more layers to the story: he secretly meets and seduces Shabana, Vedita Pratap Singh, who is Mamu’s niece, and they share clandestine moments. Meanwhile, Kanjari, a gang member played by Shilpa Shukla, harbor feelings for Fateh, while Tezz encounters Simran, played by Shweta Verma, on a bus after stealing her purse. Tezz does something rare for him — he returns her purse, sparking an innocent connection, though neither of them knows each other’s names.

Conflict intensifies when a rival gang led by Piyush Mishra as Shankar Pandey begins encroaching on Mamu’s territory. Amidst these power struggles, Mamu’s personal life crumbles when he engages in an affair with Shabana despite Bano, Mamu’s wife played by Deepti Naval, knowing but unable to intervene. Political pressure arises as authorities plan to arrest Mamu during upcoming elections, causing him to leave Bano behind and take Shabana away with him.

The narrative takes a darker turn when Fateh secretly kills Mamu during his absence, framing it as a heart attack, and takes over as the new Mamu. Fateh’s new rule is marked by increased criminal activity, including his involvement in the pharmaceutical conspiracy with the flu virus and the sale of antidotes. Tezz’s loyalty is tested as he uncovers Fateh’s complicity in Mamu’s murder and the sinister plan to spread disease. When Fateh boasts about their activities, Tezz confronts him, and their duel escalates into an all-out gang war that results in significant casualties on both sides. A tense alliance forms when Shankar attempts to bribe Tezz to murder Fateh, but Tezz, loyal to his principles, uses officer Jackie Shroff to stage a brutal encounter, eliminating Shankar’s gang.

Tragedy strikes when Shabana, trying to claim her rightful place and remove Bano from her life, is murdered by Bano in a fit of rage, who claims Shabana’s death was a suicide caused by her love for Shankar. Amidst the chaos, Kanjari, a gang member, aids Bano in covering up the murder, further complicating the web of betrayal.

As alliances shift and the gang wars continue, Tezz manages to trap Fateh and orchestrate his demise. During a climactic scene, Tezz exposes that Kay Kay Menon’s character—supporting Tezz because of a personal tragedy, the loss of his daughter to the flu—was secretly backing him. With desperation mounting, Jackie Shroff as the narcotics officer, attempts to eliminate Tezz, who survives a deadly accident and ends up hospitalized.

In a heartbreaking twist, Tezz encounters Simran, who works as a nurse at the hospital. She recognizes his identity from their brief earlier connection and, not knowing it’s him, poisons his IV. When she finally realizes that the man she loves is the very criminal responsible for her brother’s suicide, her grief and confusion lead to a tragic conclusion: Tezz dies due to her inadvertent act, contemplating the cruel fate that has ensnared them both.
