Narendra Modi’s journey starts from humble beginnings as a poor tea seller. At a young age, he leaves his home, seeking spiritual enlightenment as a Sanyasi in the serene Himalayas. After completing his pilgrimage, he returns to Gujarat, where he becomes involved with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). His political career gains momentum when he courageously champions the cause against the State of Emergency imposed by then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. By 1980, the RSS assigns Modito the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), marking the beginning of his significant political endeavors.

Throughout his political ascent, Modi is depicted as working diligently on various ground-level initiatives across Gujarat, striving to garner support and uplift the lives of the populace. In 1998, the BJP triumphs in the Gujarat Legislative Assembly election, leading to Keshubhai Patel being appointed as the chief minister. However, Modi’s trajectory takes him to New Delhi, where he is tasked with further groundwork. His return to Gujarat occurs in 2001, just a month prior to the catastrophic Gujarat earthquake. Soon after, Modi supplants Patel and is chosen as the chief ministerial candidate for the upcoming election.

The film delves into the 2002 Gujarat violence, portrayed not merely as a tragic event but as a conspiracy aimed at destabilizing Modi’s administration. Despite the tumult, Modi emerges victorious in the 2002 Gujarat Legislative Assembly election. However, the fallout leads to significant international repercussions, with the United States and other nations denying him a visa due to the unrest. This exclusion is depicted as a conspiracy aligned with political opponents against Modi.

Ultimately, the narrative culminates with Modi leading the BJP to a resounding victory in the 2014 Indian general election, resulting in his historic appointment as the Prime Minister of India.
