Jim Gaffigan

Born James Christopher Gaffigan on July 7, 1966 in Elgin, Illinois, Jim Gaffigan is a versatile talent in the entertainment world. A stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and producer active since 1991, Gaffigan is renowned for his humor which encompasses a variety of genres including observational comedy, clean comedy, deadpan, sarcasm, and satire. His material often touches on a range of subjects such as fatherhood, laziness, food, religion, and general observations. He is often regarded as a 'clean' comic, a trait that stems from his minimal use of profanity in his routines.

Alongside comedy, Gaffigan has written and published two successful memoirs: Dad is Fat (2013) and Food: A Love Story (2014). He also starred in a TV Land series The Jim Gaffigan Show, portraying a semi-fictional version of himself.
