**Elizabeth Claire Kemper** (born May 2, 1980), professionally known as **Ellie Kemper**, is a renowned American actress. She burst onto the scene for her roles as Erin Hannon in the hit sitcom The Office (2009–2013) and Kimmy Schmidt in the sitcom Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (2015–2019). Her film career includes notable performances in Bridesmaids (2011), 21 Jump Street (2012), Sex Tape (2014), and Home Sweet Home Alone (2021). In addition to her acting talent, she has also proven her skills as a writer, releasing her debut book, *My Squirrel Days*, in 2018.
