**Abbie Cornish**, also known as Dusk, is a renowned Australian actress and musician. Born on the 7th August 1982, she made an impact in film through roles in notable movies such as 'Somersault', 'Bright Star', 'Sucker Punch', 'Limitless', 'Robocop' and 'Geostorm'. She collaborated with prestigious writer/director Martin McDonagh, and was part of the awarded cast of 'Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri'. Cornish returned for her role as Cathy Mueller in the 1st and final 4th season of 'Jack Ryan', and more recently starred alongside Anthony Hopkins in 'The Virtuoso'. Cornish was the second of five children, with her sister Isabelle, also in the acting industry. Fascinated by foreign and independent films, in her early years, her fascination turned into a career as she first modeled at age 13 before acting. **Abbie Cornish**'s career began with modelling at age 13 and then onto acting roles. Cornish also developed a successful music career, rapping under the name MC Dusk. She was part of an Australian hip-hop group Blades and supported American rapper Nas on his Australian tour. Cornish is also known for her commitment to activism. She advocates for cruelty-free eating and animal rights.
