Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century 1999

Zenon Kar is a spirited girl living with her family aboard an Earth-orbiting space station in 2049. When a reckless misstep brings her into conflict with the station’s strict Cmd. Edward Plank, Zenon earns a punishment: she must relocate to Earth to live with her Aunt Judy Kling. On Earth, the vast expanse of space feels far away, and Zenon struggles to fit in with classmates who find her space-station stories and slang odd. A break comes when Proto Zoa joins the adventure; the pop-star is about to depart for a big concert on the station and, after recognizing Zenon from the Dance with Proto Zoa contest, agrees to help by inviting her aboard the launch to the station. The fusion of music, technology, and courage injects fresh momentum into the rescue mission.

As the rocket nears orbit, Wyndham and his accomplice make a last, desperate move to stop Zenon before she can reach the station. Mr. Lutz, Wyndham’s ruthless associate, eagerly pursues them, while Zenon’s Aunt Judy follows to offer support in an unlikely confrontation at the heart of the crisis. When the ship finally lands, Cmd. Plank is shocked to see Zenon alive and well, but he remains wary until the antivirus software is successfully loaded onto the station’s systems.
