From the shadowed corners of a prison, Kubdya Khavis, the former sidekick of Tatya Vinchu, makes a daring escape and reclaims the puppet that cradles Tatya Vinchu’s soul. He tracks it to the mansion of the enigmatic Baba Chamatkar, Baba Chamatkar, and presses him to bring Tatya Vinchu back to life. Kubdya Khavis admits a grander scale of theft: the diamonds once valued at ₹5 crore, now worth ₹50 crore, were stolen by him and Tatya Vinchu, with only Tatya knowing their whereabouts. His plan is cold and ruthless — uncover the diamonds, kill Tatya Vinchu again, and offer Baba a cut of the fortune in exchange for reviving Tatya. Yet Baba Chamatkar refuses to repeat a deadly mistake, and Kubdya Khavis loses his temper. In a violent confrontation, he tries to strike Baba with a trishul, only to be struck down by the same weapon when Baba fights back, ending Kubdya’s threat in a single, brutal moment. A single drop of Kubdya’s blood splashes onto the puppet and famously revives Tatya Vinchu, setting the stage for a new round of terror.

Tatya Vinchu wastes no time in pressing his advantage. He corners Baba Chamatkar and compels him to reveal how a soul can migrate into a human body. Baba warns that the victim must invoke the Mrutyunjaya Mantra to complete the transfer, a process he once explained to Lakshya, who is now deceased. With Lakshya gone, Tatya declares that he will pursue Lakshya’s son to fulfill the ritual and ensure his own resurgence remains unfinished business. The ominous promise lingers as the village trembles at the edge of an old, familiar nightmare.

Meanwhile, in the village of Shrirangpur, a bustling jatra dedicated to the local deity fills the air with color, music, and rumor. Aditya Bolke, the son of the late Lakshya and Aavdi, is a skilled mechanical engineer whose talents outpace his employment prospects. He shares a quiet, stubborn love for ventriloquism with his devoted grandmother, Parubai, a figure of warmth and strength who anchors him to his roots. Aditya’s path crosses with Megha, Megha, a vibrant lavani dancer performing at her mother Champa’s theatre within the fair. The chemistry between the two is immediate, and what starts as a holiday romance soon deepens into something far more meaningful as they navigate family histories, village factions, and the pull of a legacy left by Lakshya.

Amid the fair’s spectacle, Makarand Makarand has set up a puppet show that captures the crowd’s imagination. He crafts a puppet that bears an uncanny resemblance to Tatya Vinchu, a nod to local legend that makes him both a skeptic and a shrewd showman. Aditya’s tireless curiosity draws him to Makarand, hoping to learn the craft of ventriloquism, while the show’s security—led by a rugged presence—provides comic friction that lightens the tension. At the same time, journalist Gauri, Gauri, arrives to cover the fair and adds a sharp observer’s eye to the unfolding drama as the puppet world seems to wake up around them.

The festival atmosphere crescendos when Tatya Vinchu himself enters the scene, recognizing Aditya as Lakshya’s son. Aditya’s encounter with Tatya Vinchu proves startling when the puppet appears to be alive, and he privately suspects a hidden technology rather than sorcery. He brings the puppet home, and his engineering mind weighs every possibility, mistaking it for a taped recording rather than a living entity. The news travels quickly: Mumbai’s Police Commissioner Mahesh Jadhav, Mahesh Jadhav, learns of Kubdya Khavis’s demise and the more recent pulse of Tatya Vinchu’s revival. Baba Chamatkar, who slipped into a coma after the earlier confrontation, regains consciousness and confirms Tatya Vinchu’s return, prompting a vigilant response from the authorities. The police move to Shrirangpur, deepening the chase as they uncover the puppet’s true origin — a replica crafted by Makarand — and they burn the counterfeit in a bonfire, hoping to seal the danger once and for all.

As the festival’s final hours approach, Tatya Vinchu closes in on his quarry. He confronts Makarand, dragging him toward Aditya’s home, while Parubai races to Inspector Sakharam to warn them of the looming peril. The threat lands at the religious procession near the fair, and Tatya Vinchu climbs toward Aditya atop the towering wheel in a breathless, perilous pursuit. The plan to recite the Mrutyunjaya Mantra intensifies, but Mahesh Jadhav intervenes just in time, stepping into the line of fire and firing a decisive shot that hits Tatya Vinchu between the eyebrows. The beast staggers and collapses, only to revive again, seizing Mahesh’s gun to wound him in the arm and inch toward another gruesome ascent.

In a final, brutal act of defiance, Aditya reads the danger in Tatya Vinchu’s eyes and uses a coconut knife to sever the villain’s head. The headless body lurches in a last twist of defiance, and Mahesh drags the dying threat away, insisting the case cannot be closed until the severed head is found. In the manic, shocking close, Tatya Vinchu’s severed head remains in the frame, raising his eyebrows in a silent, mocking defiance from beneath Mahesh’s car. The nightmare isn’t over until every thread is tied, and the ending lingers with a chilling reminder of the danger that still roams the village after the fireworks and the songs fade away.
