Public face vs criminal reality

Senthil Nathan is introduced as a wealthy, respected businessman who is admired by his son Raja and by society. In truth, he secretly runs a large smuggling operation, using his public image to shield his real activities. Information flows to him from trusted sources while his gang executes his plans. This setup establishes the clash between appearance and crime that drives the story.

First robbery and traitor betrayal

During a robbery, a gang member betrays the operation by fleeing with the diamonds. Senthil Nathan dispatches another man to recover the loot and to kill the traitor if needed. The traitor is killed, but the killer also escapes with the diamonds. The diamonds are now hidden, and Senthil tightens the net around the fallout.

Henchmen move to recover diamonds

Senthil immediately sends more henchmen to recover the diamonds and silence any traitors. The hunter corners the second killer and eliminates him, but by then the diamonds have been hidden away at an undisclosed location. The pursuit grows more chaotic as the diamonds slip further from reach. The operation shifts from the street to hidden caches and conspirators.

Victoria driver arrested

Near the victim's body, the Victoria driver is found and arrested on circumstantial evidence. Investigators seize on the incident to link the driver and the Victoria car to the victim. The arrest complicates the investigation and broadens the search for the diamonds.

Durai and Sami released from prison

Two aging crooks, Durai and Sami, are released from prison with hopes of living honest lives. They long for respect and stability, but the lure of the diamonds drags them back into danger. They decide to pursue leads about the Victoria case to prove themselves.

Plans to get closer to Victoria driver

Durai and Sami learn about the Victoria and realize no one has a scent of the missing diamonds. They decide to get closer by posing as distant cousins of the Victoria driver, and are reluctantly admitted inside by Rani, the driver's elder daughter.

Rani seduces Senthil Nathan

During the day, Rani rides the Victoria posing as a man. Durai and Sami follow her to Senthil Nathan's house and are shocked to see Rani seducing him. When Victor tries to assault Rani, the two old men intervene and save her.

Confrontation with a suspicious man

Confronting the suspicious man near the Victoria, they learn that he was lurking near the Victoria when Rani's father was arrested. Before they could press for information, the man is shot dead by an unknown assailant. This incident pushes them to re-evaluate the Victoria mystery and push forward with caution.

Truth and continued search

After hearing the Victoria driver's version, Durai and Sami share what they’ve learned with Rani, exposing the broader danger and their own complicity. Rani is shocked by the truth and admits she still doesn't know where the diamonds are hidden. The trio continues to doubt the Victoria's setup and keeps investigating.

Rani falls for Raja

Rani falls in love with Raja after meeting him while posing as a cab driver; she tries to woo him as a rich lady and the ruse succeeds. Their bond becomes a new pivot in the quest for the diamonds as loyalties blur.

Raja uncovers truth and faces resistance

Raja learns the truth about his father and decides to marry Rani, despite knowing his father's criminal nature. He also meets Durai and Sami, who raise suspicions about them. Senthil Nathan objects to the relationship to protect his secrets.

Family revelations and alliance

Raja confronts his father and rejects him; Durai and Sami explain their truth to Raja. The quartet—Raja, Durai, Sami, and Rani—join forces to search for the diamonds.

Abductions and torture at the den

Senthil Nathan kidnaps Rani after learning she is Shankaralingam's daughter. Raja, Durai, and Sami are kidnapped and tortured in Senthil's den. The stakes rise as the truth about loyalty and diamonds hangs in the balance.

Diamonds found and a crucial reveal

During the deal, the diamonds are revealed to be hidden inside the Victoria lamp, and Sami buys time to retrieve them. In the ensuing melee, Durai and Sami lure the gang and reclaim the diamonds. An old henchman reveals that Raja is not Senthil's son, exposing a past plan to steal a child to secure inheritance.
