Zagro seeks political marriage

The evil King Zagro asks for permission to wed Princess Sira as a political alliance between their kingdoms. Sira travels to Zagro's land for the wedding, hoping to unite the realms through marriage. Unbeknownst to her, Zagro intends to assassinate Alteo after the ceremony to seize control of both kingdoms.

Ursus retires to the countryside

Ursus, once a mighty warrior who fought for Alteo, has retired to a simple farm with his younger brother Dario. He had once sought the hand of Princess Sira himself, but Alteo refused him because Ursus was not of noble birth. The brothers live a quiet life far from court intrigues.

Ursus learns of Zagro's plot

While the betrothal proceeds, Ursus learns of Zagro's plot to kill Alteo and seize both realms. He resolves to warn Alteo and prevent the conspiracy from succeeding. Zagro, determined to silence him, has Ursus' younger brother Dario captured and threatens to kill him unless Ursus surrenders.

Ursus surrenders and becomes a slave

To save his brother, Ursus turns himself in and is forced to become a slave in Zagro's prison camp. He endures harsh conditions while waiting for a chance to escape.

Dario's rescue and Ursus escapes

Rebels within Zagro's court free Dario from captivity, allowing Ursus to break free from the slave camp. With his brother safe, Ursus heads back toward Alteo's kingdom to warn him.

Return to warn Alteo

Ursus and Dario travel back to King Alteo's realm to warn him that he is about to be assassinated. They race against time to expose Zagro's conspiracy before it is too late.

Licurgo sows doubt in Alteo

Upon their arrival, Alteo's advisor Licurgo uses his influence to cast doubt on Ursus's warning, suggesting the warrior is fabricating threats in order to win the princess's hand. He manipulates court opinion and undermines trust in Ursus.

Licurgo frames Ursus for assassination

Licurgo arranges for an assassin to murder the king and frames Ursus for the crime. The kingdom teeters between fear and confusion as the accused hero tries to clear his name.

Arena trials to prove innocence

To prove his innocence, Ursus undergoes a series of strength tests in an arena. The greatest challenge ties him to a chained elephant that drags him toward a wall bristling with knives, testing his stamina and resolve.

Ursus exposes Zagro's plot

Through grit and evidence, Ursus convinces the people that Zagro was behind the assassination plot. The crowd begins to see the truth, and the king's legitimacy is restored in the eyes of the people.

Zagro kills Licurgo

Enraged by the exposure, Zagro stabs Licurgo to death, removing his ally and showing his volatile temper to all who would listen.

War engulfs the kingdoms

In desperation, Zagro orders his armies to attack, and a tremendous battle erupts across the plains. Ursus rallies the people as the two realms collide in a brutal clash for control.

Final duel: Zagro defeated

In the chaos of war, Ursus confronts Zagro and stabs him to death with his own sword. He liberates the people and rescues Princess Sira from the turmoil surrounding the downfall of Zagro.
