In the Old West, a tense range war arises between cattlemen and sheepmen, setting a harsh backdrop for every move the characters make. Cattle rancher Robert Dawson, [Kenneth MacDonald], hires two cowhands, Dave Saunders, [Tim Holt], and Chito Rafferty, [Richard Martin], and the trio quickly finds themselves pulled into the conflict when they witness what appears to be sheep rustling on Dawson’s ranch. The fragile line between loyalty and danger becomes clearer as the men navigate a landscape where reputations can be wrecked in a single night.

The rustler is traced back to Jess Rawlins, [Bill Kennedy], the cunning foreman for sheep rancher Chris Marvin, who schemes to frame Dawson in order to steal Marvin’s herd for himself. As Dave and Chito uncover the misdirection, they realize they’ve stepped into a web of deceit that could spark violence throughout the region. The stakes rise when Rawlins starts a dangerous game of accusations, intent on seeing the two cowhands lynched before they can prove their innocence.

Chris Marvin, [Noreen Nash], insists on a fair process and holds the men for the sheriff, hoping for a just resolution rather than mob justice. Yet the danger intensifies when the crooked plan hinges on turning fear into action, and the balance of power between Dawson’s camp and Marvin’s flock teeters on a knife’s edge. Amid the mounting tension, saloon singer Ruby, [Betty Underwood], who is also Chito’s girlfriend, slips a hidden weapon to Dave and Chito inside a guitar, enabling a daring escape that buys them time to think and move.

Seeking truth, the trio consults the local undertaker, Jim, [Richard Kean], who reveals the fatal clue: the bullet that killed the rustler came from a rifle, a weapon neither Dave nor Chito owns. This revelation strengthens their resolve to clear their names, and they press forward with caution, aware that every lead could bring them closer to danger or vindication. The undertaker’s warning lingers as they regroup and plan their next move, knowing Rawlins is not finished yet.

With grit and persistence, the three—Dave, Chito, and Chris—pair their wits to pursue Rawlins, who has also killed the undertaker, turning the pursuit into a tense showdown that tests each of them. A gunfight erupts, and Rawlins is eventually arrested, marking a fragile restoration of order in a landscape where trust is hard-won and violence is all too common. In the aftermath, Dave and Chris forge a quiet bond, recognizing that cooperation and mutual respect can endure even amidst rugged truths and a brutal feud.
