To locate Hiroshi, Lucy pretends to be Hiroshi’s pregnant girlfriend to obtain his whereabouts from his daughter Eko Nakamura, [Elaine Lui-Siu-Ling], an actress in Japan. Eko agrees to help and the trio travels to Indonesia, Hiroshi’s last known whereabouts, where Eko reveals that Hiroshi has been lost in New Guinea.

In New Guinea, they are first battered by hostile natives, and Eko discovers that Lucy’s pregnancy ruse has been uncovered. Abdullah, [Eddy Gombloh], explains that two tribes on the island are forever at odds, complicating the search.
